Meryl and The Magnetics is a dynamic trio that infuses the styles of Americana, Singer/Songwriter and Jazz. Like a fine wine, any given song may feature one style with notes of another, enhancing their sound. Meryl Lammers, vocalist, Chris Braddock on guitar and bass, and Paul Boris on piano and keyboard comprise the trio who met at the Music School of Delaware. The band’s versatility moves through Patsy Kline and Allison Kraus songs such as “I’ll Fly Away” to jazz standards written by Thelonious Monk, Wayne Shorter and Miles Davis. Meryl and The Magnetics are songwriters, with songs which come from a storyteller’s point of view and would make Carole King proud. Meryl and the Magnetics – attracted by music!
