Let'ssssss Celebrate World Snake Day
Join TLC as we host Gary and his yellow corn snake when he educates us about the most misunderstood members of the animal kingdom. View skulls and bones before we take a walk around the preserve looking for live specimens!
Snakes have gotten a bad rap over the last few thousand years despite being incredibly beneficial creatures in maintaining the balance of nature as both predator and prey. Visiting state park naturalist, Gary Stolz, and his yellow corn snake will educate us about these amazing animals that can range from several inches long to 30 feet, from friendly and docile to aggressive and deadly. View skulls and bones before we take a walk around the preserve looking for evidence of our newly appreciated reptilian friends.
