September: Canoe The Christina

Find many of birds and plenty of nature as we see a fall transition from summertime birds to migrating songbirds and shorebirds to the wintertime waterfowl and raptors. All levels of birders are welcome as we learn how to look at and listen to the birds. Bring your own binoculars or borrow a pair from us. Program fee includes all 3 sessions: Time: 10 am - 1 pm Sept 26: The birds are still singing. Walk the marsh to find sandpipers and watch the woods for songbirds, while on the lookout for our resident Bald Eagles. Oct 10: Fall migration is here! Come out find birds that you might never have seen before. Nov 7: The weather is starting to cool down. Many of the northern waterfowl and raptors are around. Watch the river and pond and marsh for a surprising number of birds that can be found!
