Painting Woodland Wonders: Foliage and Fungi
Discover the uncommon beauty in fungi, lichens, fallen leaves, and mossy stumps as you explore the gardens at Mt. Cuba Center. Observe a variety of mushrooms, colorful vignettes of foliage and bark, and the muted earth-tones of the autumn garden before selecting a subject to draw. Arrange, sketch, and create a unique composition guided by demonstrations, individual instruction, and selected examples of Margaret Saylor's art. All levels of ability are welcome! Bring your lunch and be prepared to walk outdoors. Please review the materials list before the first class. This is a three-day class.
