Join us for our Good Friday Cantata Service featuring Franz Liszt’s Via Crucis (The Way of the Cross). Each movement of this work for piano and choir is based one of the fourteen stations of the cross. Scripture readings will be interspersed throughout the piece. Baritone soloist Kevin Godinez (Academy of Vocal Arts resident), who sang for last year’s service, will join the Chancel Choir.

In addition, cellist Justin Miller will play Bach’s “Cello suite no. 1 G Major, Prelude”, and accompany our Music Director Ryan Peteraf on Arvo Pärt’s “Spiegel im Spiegel” for piano and cello.
